Three in four employers will let their staff work from home more after the virus has gone, research has found.
A survey of 1,000 bosses conducted by the Institute of Directors suggests that the pandemic will permanently change the way office staff work.
It found that 74 per cent of bosses will increase working from home and 43 per cent will allow employees to choose which hours they work.

Two in five said home working was ‘more effective’. More than half of those polled said their businesses intended to spend less on office space.
The figures raise fresh fears for city centres which have been hammered by the Government’s work-from-home advice.
Tens of thousands of jobs have been lost at the likes of WH Smith, Upper Crust and Pret a Manger.
But businesses in residential areas are performing well, with many local pubs, restaurants and shops making a good recovery from lockdown.
